Joined up for Jobs Service Standards
About Customer Care
The Joined Up For Jobs Partnership launched its Customer Care standard for network members in October 2009. The objectives of the s
tandard are to:
- define the indicators for effective customer care
- ensure a minimum level of service for customers, both job-seekers and employers
- provide quality assurance for referring organisations
- foster a culture of continuous service improvement
The development of the Charter has been supported by funding from the Scottish Government’s Employability team.
The Charter Commitment to Customers
The Charter was formally launched in October 2009 by Fiona Hyslop, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning.
There are 7 commitments within the standard which are generic to organisations offering a range of employability services - from those who deal with clients a considerable distance from the labour market to those who provide direct links to employment opportunities. The standard has been developed in partnership with partner organisations, with employability service providers working in Edinburgh and with employers.
